Pay

How does a campaign pay?

Short answer

In two parts. Base pay goes to every creator in full. Then 80% of the campaign pool is shared by performance, and Breadshare keeps 20%.

Answered by The Breadshare team

Every campaign has two amounts, both shown in the brief before you join.

Base pay

A fixed amount for taking part. Post a video the brand has approved and you receive it in full, whatever the view count.

The pool

The performance part. Breadshare keeps 20% of the pool. The other 80% is shared between creators according to how their videos did: views, engagement and shares all count.

An example

A campaign has a $500 pool and $50 base pay. Your videos account for 22% of the campaign's performance.

  • Breadshare keeps 20% of the pool ($100), leaving $400 for creators.
  • Base pay, in full: $50.00
  • 22% of the $400: $88.00
  • Total: $138.00

That's an illustration, not a forecast. Your share depends on how you do against everyone else in that campaign.
